The 18th (2020) China Animal Husbandry Expo and 2020 China International Animal Husbandry Expo (hereinafter referred to as animal husbandry exhibition) held a press conference in Changsha recently, announcing that the exhibition will be held in Changsha International Convention and Exhibition Center from September 4 to 6, with an exhibition area of nearly 140000 square meters and more than 1200 participating enterprises.
At present, the animal Expo has been successfully held for 17 times, which is the first in Asia and the third in the world. As a national tour exhibition, this animal husbandry exhibition has the largest area, the largest number of booths and the largest number of participating enterprises in all previous sessions. Focusing on the theme of "purifying, restoring production, ensuring supply, poverty alleviation and efficiency, and benefiting people's livelihood", the exhibition provided nearly 6500 booths, and invited a number of envoys in China to participate in the exhibition. It is estimated that more than 150000 people will go to Changsha for exhibition.
It is reported that the exhibition covers the whole industry chain of animal husbandry at home and abroad, including domestic and foreign breeding livestock and poultry, veterinary drugs, vaccines, animal health products, feed enterprises, environmental protection, manure treatment equipment, biomass energy enterprises, comprehensive animal husbandry services, etc. Different from the past, in order to alleviate the impact of the epidemic, this year's animal Expo launched the "online animal Expo", creating a new format combining online exhibition and offline exhibition.
"The choice of Changsha to hold the exhibition is closely related to the strong support of the local government, the first-class Pavilion conditions and the high-quality exhibition service team." Yang Ping, director of the Exhibition Department of China Animal Husbandry Association, said that during the exhibition, a number of high-end forums will be held, including the sixth (2020) global broiler industry seminar, the Sixth China animal husbandry industry advanced commendation activity, the establishment meeting of the biological industry branch of China Animal Husbandry Association and the fourth China animal husbandry biotechnology conference, etc., to create exchanges and upgrading of the animal husbandry industry Cooperation platform.
In addition, it was learned that the development of Hunan crayfish industry was hindered by the epidemic situation. In order to stimulate domestic demand and help enterprises tide over difficulties, the "Lobster Festival" was set up. More than 20000 kilograms of crayfish will be purchased locally for free tasting by exhibitors and visitors of the Expo.
